Christy joined Martin & Company in 2022, with over 15 years of experience in the industry.

Christy started her career as an MGA underwriter but quickly fell into a product and compliance role. She has worked for Markel and Kingsway America, where she maintained commercial bureau affiliations and specialty programs for numerous property and casualty lines. These roles included preparing and submitting proprietary products in 51 jurisdictions and implementing countrywide bureau revisions. Most recently Christy was in a product and compliance role at a small consumer direct personal auto carrier. This role allowed her to work on market conduct exams, consumer complaints, and internal audits in addition to developing and maintaining a proprietary product.

Christy grew up in York, Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from Penn State University. She currently resides in Richmond, Virginia with her daughter, husband, and two rescue hounds.
