Martin & Company is a leading industry consulting and advisory firm for the U. S. Insurance market. Our core business segments include State Filings; Company Licensing; Compliance & Regulatory; Product Development; Actuarial Consulting and Competitive Intelligence.

 

As a result of our continued growth, we have an excellent opportunity for an Insurance Product Analyst, and we are seeking a qualified candidate to fill this position. You will become part of an accomplished team of industry professionals with knowledge and experience across many lines of business and programs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Clear understanding of insurance products and their development to ensure compliance with filed rates, rules, and forms.
  • Experience with eliciting requirements for development of software products and workflows.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support decision making for development of new products in collaboration with client stakeholders.
  • Apply business process and system analysis methodologies to understand, document, and analyze business process and requirements.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current state and desired future state and develop recommendations for closing the gap.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

Qualifications

  • 5 years of related work experience
  • Experience with Guidewire is a PLUS
  • Property & Casualty insurance knowledge and experience
  • Experience with Product Development and as a Technical Business Analyst

Qualified candidates must be detail oriented, accurate, disciplined, able to work under time constraints, self-motivated, energetic, flexible, customer service oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.  Excellent time management skills are valuable.
