Arnie Rippener, ACAS

AVP, U.S. Actuarial Practice Leader

Arnie has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, having worked with Group Health as well as Property & Casualty lines of business. He is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Arnie began his career in pricing roles with Group Accident & Health products, after which he moved to the Property Casualty side of the business where he held Personal Lines pricing roles at CNA Insurance Company, Allstate as well as USAA. Immediately prior to joining Martin & Company, he was involved in reserving for various lines of P&C business, including Cyber & Data Security, General Liability, Excess Workers Compensation, Commercial Umbrella and Travel. Arnie also has experience with other lines of business which includes High Value HO, Personal Auto and various Specialty Lines, Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Inland Marine Surety, Travel, AD&D, Equine and Workers’ Compensation.

Arnie has a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University. He currently resides in Valparaiso IN, where he enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Raissa Schickel

AVP, U.S. Actuarial Practice Leader

Raissa has over 17 years of P&C industry experience and joined Martin & Company in 2012.  Raissa’s pricing experience spans numerous lines of business and products including Homeowners, Property, Personal Auto, Commercial Auto, Inland Marine, General Liability, Package, Crime, Commercial Output Policy (COP), Businessowners (BOP), Professional Liability, Management Liability, Workers Compensation, Excess & Umbrella, Cyber, and Aircraft.

Prior to joining M&C, Raissa worked at Philadelphia Insurance Companies, AAA Mid-Atlantic, and Signature Consulting Solutions.  She’s been involved with all parts of the rate filing process from product development, competitor analysis, and strategic planning with leadership to rate indications and DOI objections.  Raissa also has experience developing unpaid claims estimates.

Raissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science degree (with Academic Distinction) in Actuarial Science from Temple University.  She is one exam away from her ACAS designation.  She lives in Philadelphia and enjoys spending as much outdoor time as possible with her spouse and daughter and their family dog.

Nicole Wample, CPCU

U.S. Practice Leader & Senior Compliance & State Filings Analyst

Nicole began her insurance career in 2007 with AXA XL where she held a variety of positions, all within the Regulatory Compliance department.  She handled various commercial property and casualty lines of business including, but not limited to, Professional Liability, Commercial Umbrella and Excess, Commercial General Liability, and Commercial Property.  Nicole’s last position at AXA XL consisted of being a liaison between the various business units and the Regulatory Compliance department, preparing products and supporting documents for filing, and handling state objections.  Previous roles she held involved making filings for bureau adoptions and proprietary products, as well as loading forms to the company’s form library.

Nicole also worked for MetLife as a Contract Development Analyst for Life, Accident, and Health products. Her responsibilities here included issuing policies, monitoring legislative changes, processing applications, addressing policy language, and filing submissions as needed.

Nicole resides in Newark, DE with her husband and two children.  When she is not working, Nicole enjoys baking, gardening, and playing the piano.

Juli Frank

AVP, U.S. Practice Leader & Product Compliance Analyst

Juli began her career in the insurance industry at NCMIC Group, Inc. in 2001, holding various positions within the compliance department with a focus on commercial property and casualty regulatory compliance.  Juli has been responsible for medical malpractice and professional liability product development as well as preparing, submitting, and maintaining form, rate, and rule filings across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

Juli has worked closely with senior management, underwriting, customer service, information systems, marketing, actuarial, and accounting through product development and implementation, system testing, review of marketing materials, regulatory research, and competitor comparisons.  She also has experience organizing and assembling documentation for state insurance department financial and market conduct examinations and organizing and submitting rate history data and summaries for annual reinsurance renewals.  Juli has prepared and submitted business entity filings and renewals and has been active in RPG registration and maintenance.

Juli holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University.  Juli resides in Earlham, Iowa, with her husband Luke and their four children.

Gina Pyle

Executive Assistant / HR Director

Gina joined Martin & Company in 2021 and supports the Management and Leadership teams with Operations, Human Resources, Calendar Management, and Process Improvement.  Gina has an extensive background in insurance and meeting planning.  She is a graduate of Temple University and enjoys reading and spending time at the beach.

Stephanie Marlow, WCP, RWCS, CISR Elite, AINS, AIS

Director of Workers Compensation

Stephanie has over 13 years in P&C Insurance and is a Subject Matter Expert for the Workers’ Compensation line of business. Her experience includes identifying trends and opportunities for WC, creating manual rating worksheets, and assistance with the development WC underwriting guidelines. Some of her accomplishments include the implementation of a WC program in all voluntary jurisdictions, implementation of a WC large deductible program, and implementation of a WC territorial rating program.

She is a member of The American Society of Workers Comp Professionals (AMCOMP). Responsibilities have included: Form, Rate & Rule development and state filings, testing and training of system changes, statistical reporting, and researching system/product issues and finding resolutions.

Prior to her insurance career, Stephanie worked for manufacturing companies as their Safety and Environmental Manager. She helped develop and implement safety training manuals and programs, along with providing training to the employees. She was also responsible for any state/federal reporting of workers compensation claims and environmental reports. When she is not working, Stephanie enjoys taking her dog for walks, gardening and enjoying the outdoors.

Aaron Hickmann

Chief Technology Officer

Aaron joined Martin & Company in 2024 and oversees system development teams. He holds an MBA in Information Technology and a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He has led operational and technical teams in industries including financial services, e-commerce, non-profit, and software development. In his spare time, he travels domestically and internationally and enjoys following professional and college football.

Hannah Bauer

Marketing Director

Hannah joined Martin & Company in 2024 to lead the company’s marketing efforts. With more than 10 years of experience in branding, content and copywriting, product marketing, and lifecycle marketing, Hannah believes in mixing the art and science of marketing to drive business results.

Hannah lives in Colorado with her husband and their cats. When she’s not working, she can usually be found running on the trails.

Debbie Boekmeyer

U.S. Practice Leader & Senior Product & State Filing Specialist

Debbie has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry most recently with working with various Life Accident & Health insurance products, as well as Property & Casualty products.

Debbie has held positions as a Compliance Officer and Regulatory Officer performing internal audits, compliance and regulatory initiatives and drafting of Life Accident & Health policy forms, in addition to the preparation and submission of regulatory filings.

She began her insurance career working with Property and Casualty products and a Licensing Specialist assisting the company with the handling of agent licensing.

Debbie was also with the Chubb Group as a Product Design Specialist where she was responsible for product research, product analysis, planning and implementation of new product launches, and drafting group and individual policy forms.
