How We Began

In 1993, our founder started a small niche business in his basement with an idea of changing the way insurance carriers obtained and benefited from competitive intelligence. It started with weekly visits to insurance departments spending most of the day copying, reviewing and obtaining a countless amount of carrier rate, rule and form filings. Along the way we established many relationships at these departments and gained tremendous knowledge across all product lines. With the abundance of information that was being gathered we started writing a series of newsletters and reference guides as a distribution point for this information. With the continued success of these newsletters and newly formed relationships with many carrier subscribers, we decided to expand the company’s capabilities and began building a boutique like service-oriented consulting firm serving carriers and brokers countrywide. This vision, creativity and producer mindset have propelled the firm to become a widely recognized consulting and advisory firm in the U.S. and London markets.
