Paul P. Martin

President
Founder of Martin & Company in 1993 with the primary focus on providing the insurance industry with market intelligence through advanced insurance solutions and web-based products.  Paul started his P&C insurance career as a retail agent in 1990 and quickly recognized the lack of competitive information in the market. Paul left the agency side of the business and immediately launched a series of newsletters and reference guides as a distribution point for this information. With the success of his newsletters he saw an opportunity to turn Martin & Company into a full-service professional consulting firm. Today his company supports many small, regional and national writers with their go to market strategies and compliance initiatives.  They have become a well-recognized leader in the $35 Billion program business space assisting many top program administrators with the development and launch of new programs or the transition of an existing program. He has assembled a superior group of seasoned industry experts and is continuing to build a technology and data team to manage the million plus rate, rule and form filings maintained in their proprietary FilingsDirect.com online database. Paul currently acts as President and Director of Operations and oversees the day to day operations of the Competitive Intelligence, Product & Program Development and Actuarial units, as well as Insurtech relations. Paul is a member of various industry associations and an occasional presenter.

Paul wishes to thank the many friends and associates that has helped his firm become such a well-respected and highly regarded advisory firm in the industry.  Paul resides in Newtown Square, PA with his wife Colleen and has three amazing daughters. He enjoys golfing and cycling and his company actively supports the Irish Pub Children’s Foundation, City of Hope and various other charitable organizations
