State Filing Analyst

Our core business units include State Filings; Company Licensing; Compliance & Regulatory; Product Development; Actuarial Consulting and Competitive Intelligence. Our firm continues to see growth in all areas and we currently we have an excellent opportunity in our State Filings unit.  We are seeking a qualified candidate to join the most experienced state filing team in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Preparation and submission of rate, rule, and form filings countrywide

    • Preparation of responses (as requested by the client) to DOI interrogatories

    • Monitor filing status

    • Review and analysis of Bureau Circulars/Bulletins

    • Various research projects

    • Assist with product development

    • Communicate with clients and state DOIs

Qualifications

Individual must have rate, rule, and form filing experience. Familiarity with reviewing and monitoring Bureau Circulars, i.e. NCCI, ISO, and AAIS is preferred. Product Development and independent program filing experience are a plus. Qualified candidates must be: detail oriented, analytical, accurate, organized, disciplined, able to work under time constraints, self-motivated, energetic, flexible and responsive to change, customer service oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. In addition, candidate must be proficient with: SERFF, I-File, exploring the internet for various research projects, Microsoft Office products (WORD & Excel) and other PC applications. Also requires excellent math aptitude, time management, and communication skills.
